Help for Organisations

Need help?

Report the Abuse can help evaluate your policies and procedures, make recommendations for prevention methods, and develop new ways for you to address sexual violence against your employees. Working with humanitarian organisations to improve their prevention and response strategies to address sexual violence against their employees is one of Report the Abuse’s main objectives for 2017 and 2018!

Prevention, Policy and Procedure Checklist

Our first report, published in August 2016, looked at the prevention and response strategies of 92 different humanitarian organisations. The results of this research, as well as best practices and initial guidelines for how humanitarian organisations can address the issue of sexual violence against their employees can be found at Prevention, Policy and Procedure Checklist.

Good Practices Tools

Report the Abuse is developing the first set of good practices tools to help humanitarian organisations create safer workplaces for their employees.

These tools will be published in four phases over the next year, with the first phase tool slated for publication in spring 2017.

Report the Abuse is actively engaged with a variety of security training organisations to make sure that sexual violence is integrated into their materials in sensitive and survivor-centred ways.
