Report Your Experience

Report the Abuse originally started to collect data on the problem of sexual violence against humanitarian and development workers, through the launching of our original survey. This has since allowed us to release data and produce our first report to address the issue.

The information that you provide will help us to understand the extent of sexual violence against and within the humanitarian and development community. It will help us to ensure that all workers in our industry are protected from sexual violence. It will help to ensure that incidents are handled appropriately when they do occur.

The Survey is currently available in more than thirty languages, thanks to the work of our incredible translators and Translators without Borders.

In recognition of the fact that some individuals may change their mind about completing the sections regarding witnessing or experiencing incidents of sexual violence, or wish to directly add additional experiences at a later date, both sections are directly linked below.

To report only witnessing an incident of sexual violence.

To report only experiencing an incident of sexual violence.

We thank you sincerely for your contribution, and for allowing your voice to be heard. You are contributing to the growing number of humanitarian and development workers who are refusing to be silent by providing data and/or testimonies.

Keep talking, keep sharing.
